Al-Ghad International College Assistant Dean, Jeddah
Statement by the Assistant Dean
In the name of God, the merciful and compassionate
All praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the most noble of Messengers, Prophet Mohammed, and upon his family and companions.
At the outset, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the website of Al-Ghad International College for Applied Medical Sciences in Jeddah. The College undertakes to enhance confidence in its students of both genders throughout the College Departments (namely, Medical Laboratory Science Dept., Medical Imaging Technology Dept., Nursing Dept., Emergency Medicine Dept., and the Preparatory Year Dept.). This is achieved through demonstrating students’ skills, and engaging them in various activities such as community, voluntary or cultural activities within or outside the College.
In our belief of the abilities of this generation to seek out all sorts of new experiences successfully, we fully place our trust in them to face the challenges of a changing time and generation. I encourage my students of both genders to gain the skills which will qualify them to prosper in their practical lives. I also highlight the scientific and study aspects which are given special attention by our teaching professors across various specialties.
Moreover, the Male and Female Student Sections of the College give significant concern to the continuous development of its faculty members. This is achieved through a Development Program that is supervised by the College’s Management where workshops and lectures are delivered. The program aims to promote the performance of personnel and contributes in keeping abreast with the educational development process in the Kingdom which has been highlighted in recent years.
Al-Ghad International College for Applied Medical Sciences in Jeddah prides itself on its CPR Training Center accredited by the Saudi Heart Association. The Center trains around 1500 trainees each year from inside and outside the College. It provides various courses such as CPR, Basic Life support (BLS), first-aid and pre-hospital care courses to provide trainers a real-life setting to save and treat patients in emergency cases.
In conclusion, I would like to extend my thanks to all those who contributed in the success and graduation of previous batches of Al-Ghad International College for Applied Medical Sciences in Jeddah. It gives me great honor to be part of this success.
